Yasmine"s Kittens Visit Room 5

We have been very interested in the regular updates that Yasmine provides us on her kittens since they were born.  We were all so excited when they came to visit us.  Tyrone loved spending time with them and was very careful and respectful towards them.

Safety Walk Through Clive

We went for a walk around Clive to discuss the various dangers around us and how we can keep safe in our community.  We also enjoyed a treat beside the river.

I-Pads in Room 5

We enjoy our time with the i-Pads in Room 5.  We have used a new game called "Slide" to help us with the quick recall of our basic facts for maths.

A Moment in Time

We wrote these thoughts as if we were looking out of the window of an aeroplane.

My Adventure in a Plane

I can hear the pilot talking to us.  His voice is loud and croaky.

I can see some small houses and some fluffy clouds.

I feel happy because it is my first time in a plane.

I wonder how they drive the sparkly plane?

The Amazing Plane

I can hear the small propellers on the side.

I can see the metal wing.

I feel confident because I know the pilot won’t crash.

I wonder what is going on in the blue, shiny sea down below?

The Magic Plane

I can hear the rumbling when I’m landing on the ground.

I can see the fluffy, white clouds and the tiny houses and the white plane wing.

I can see the sparkling sea.

I feel sad and nervous because we might crash land.

I wonder what is in the shiny, blue sea?

I can hear the rumbling engine.

When we land I will hear the bumping aeroplane.

I can see the fluffy, sparkling clouds.

I feel excited because there are ipads on the squishy seat.

I wonder how they drive the Air New Zealand plane?
