Our Swimming Stories

In Room 5 we love our school pool and have enjoyed our swimming lessons this term.  We have all made great progress!
We wrote stories about our swimming lessons at school.  Below are some of the thoughts we shared.

At Clive School pool we like doing swimming.  I am good at swimming as well as my friends.  We do freestyle and back stroke.  I am in the seahorse group.  Some of my friends are in my group.

I like swimming because I am a seahorse.  We get to go in the deep side.  We get to use the flippers because we are good.  It is cool.  I like going in the deep side.  I can do backstroke.  The deep side is only just over my head.  Some other people go in the deep side.  It is the best.  We get to jump in.  It is cool.  I like jumping in.

Today at Clive School I went in the school pool.  I swum on my back with a flutter board and swum with my hands above my head.  I have a free play with my friends.  I sit on the side of the pool with a flutter board and I dive in the pool.  I can dive in on the step.

I go swimming at Clive School and I am in the seahorses.  I do backstroke and freestyle and I use the flippers.  I go in the deep.  I be a mermaid.

At Clive School we do swimming.  I am in the jelly fish group.  I can jump in the pool.  There are noodles at the pool.  The seahorse group goes in the deep end.

We had a visiting magic show on Friday morning.  We learnt a lot of valuable lessons about showing respect towards others.
